Volunteer Services

Our volunteers supplement, enhance, and support all of our programs by meeting the demands for quality public service. Effective use of volunteers can extend the value of every tax dollar by providing an increased pool of labour and a larger diversity of human resources. Volunteers contribute to the success of all of our five programs by providing enhanced customer service. CANAVUA’s use of volunteers helps to maintain high-quality services for youth, seniors, newcomers, and the entire community as a whole.

Personal Enhancement for Newcomers

CANAVUA’s volunteering programs empower individuals to reach their potential as productive members of the community and to make positive contributions to the quality of community life. Volunteering can serve as on-the-job training. Our volunteers gain a sense of personal achievement by being an important part of all our programs. CANAVUA’s volunteers gain a sense of personal esteem by sharing their talents to help others through our many programs.
